Our Mission
The mission of the program is to communicate principles for change
in eating behaviors of the overweight individual. These principles are based
on truth, hope, and encouragement and promote understanding, strength and discipline.
We rely on Biblical principles for direction in all aspects of administration,
business, teaching, and program content.
|
1. TO COMMUNICATE
PRINCIPLES FOR LIFELONG CHANGE IN EATING BEHAVIORS OF OVERWEIGHT
INDIVIDUALS.
John 8:32 / Proverbs
8:5-9 / Proverbs 12:17 / Proverbs 16:6 / II Corinthians 4:2 / Ephesians
4:15
|
We believe the symptom
of overeating and being over weight points to much deeper and more complex
problems. Individuals who are aware of their need to lose weight lack
the tools and direction to deal successfully with the total problem. It
is our desire to give them the keys to a new lifestyle with clarity, simplicity,
and compassion.

2. THESE PRINCIPLES
ARE BASED ON TRUTH, HOPE AND ENCOURAGEMENT.
Psalms 42:11 / Proverbs
13:12 / Romans 5:3-5
|
We believe
while teaching solid techniques for gaining self control and insight to
the causes of overeating and being overweight, we must convey a totally
honest message. Our message will also provide hope and the positive encouragement
necessary for success. These qualities will insure the transformation necessary
for lasting benefit. |

|
|
3. THESE PRINCIPLES
PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING, STRENGTH AND DISCIPLINE.
Proverbs 4 / Proverbs
3:5-6 / James 1:12
|
Our desire is transformation
of the whole person; body, mind, and spirit. By assisting in evaluation
and education, participants will gain new insights, revived stamina and
discipline which will last a lifetime. We understand that acquisition
of these characteristics is a process which will vary in time for each
person. We will seek to be flexible and adaptable to fit individual needs.
